Vernomimicry at Hochschule München

In the innovative "Vernomimicry" seminar, Ahmed Khoja teaches the importance of integrating nature and tradition into architectural design as a resilient response to climate change. Khoja and his students explore traditional building concepts adapted for climate resilience. From harnessing ancient water management techniques to incorporating deadwood into building facades for biodiversity, these projects demonstrate a profound shift towards designs that work with nature, not against it.
